Shoolini University welcomed around 100 online learners from across the country for the five-day Campus Immersion Experience 2026, organised by the Shoolini Centre for Distance and Online Education (SCDOE). The initiative connects online learning with on-campus education through academic sessions, leadership development, innovation, entrepreneurship, and industry exposure.
Addressing the gathering, Shoolini University Founder Chancellor Prof. P.K. Khosla said online education was expanding access to quality higher education by giving learners greater flexibility and opportunity. He spoke about the importance of holistic education and urged participants to stay connected to timeless knowledge and values by reading classical texts such as the Vedas and Upanishads. True education, he said, should build character, communication skills, and compassion alongside academic excellence.
Pro Chancellor Prof. Vishal Anand delivered a session on innovation, leadership, and problem-solving through the concept of Jugaad. He asked learners to identify root causes, prioritise solutions, and innovate with purpose. Using practical examples, he showed participants how to think creatively, define their aspirations clearly, and turn ideas into results.
Welcoming the participants, SCDOE Director Prof. Amar Raj Singh Suri introduced them to the University's academic ecosystem and culture of innovation, and invited them to take an active part in the programme. In his session on 'AI at the Workplace', he explained how artificial intelligence is reshaping industries and careers, and why its adoption must be ethical and responsible.
Professional Certified Coach (PCC), Associate Director and Head, Centre for Leadership Coaching, Ms. Payal Jindal Khanna, conducted an interactive session on leadership, focusing on resilience, adaptability, and the qualities professionals need as workplaces change.
SCDOE Assistant Director Prof. Pooja Verma guided participants on building an entrepreneurial mindset, spotting opportunities, embracing innovation, and converting ideas into ventures. SCDOE Deputy Director Prof Kamal Kant Vashisht delivered a motivational session titled 'Success to Significance', urging learners to lead with purpose and contribute to society.
The inaugural day closed with 'Career Quest with Siqandar', led by Mr. Devender Thakur, Tech Lead Zesapian, and Mr. Shivam Tomar, Software Developer, who shared practical advice on career planning, employability, and the demands of a technology-driven workplace. They asked participants to keep upgrading their skills and commit to lifelong learning.
Over the next four days, participants will engage with academicians, industry experts, and entrepreneurs through sessions on communication, artificial intelligence, emerging technologies, entrepreneurship, interview skills, people management, and leadership. The programme will also include cultural activities, networking, and collaborative learning, giving online learners campus exposure that complements their digital education.
